Course Overview
The Basic & Advanced Solar PV Professional Course is a comprehensive six-month competency-based training programme designed to equip participants with the technical knowledge and practical skills required to excel in the solar energy industry. The course covers the fundamentals of electricity, renewable energy, and photovoltaic (PV) technology before progressing to advanced topics such as Solar PV system design, sizing, simulation, installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Participants receive extensive hands-on training in DC- and AC-coupled systems, battery energy storage, solar water pumping, solar street lighting, mini-grid and hybrid systems, and large-scale PV installations. By combining classroom instruction with real-world practical experience, the programme prepares graduates to confidently design, install, operate, and maintain modern Solar PV systems in accordance with industry standards.

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Understand the principles of electricity, renewable energy, and Solar PV technology.
- Design, size, and simulate efficient Solar PV systems for residential, commercial, and industrial applications.
- Install, commission, maintain, and troubleshoot Solar PV systems using industry best practices.
- Configure and manage battery storage systems, inverters, charge controllers, and other key PV components.
- Design and install solar water pumping, solar street lighting, mini-grid, and hybrid energy systems.
- Monitor, test, and optimize the performance of Solar PV systems to ensure reliability and efficiency.
- Apply occupational health, safety standards, and professional installation practices in all Solar PV projects.
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
Age: 18–25 years
Educational Background: Basic knowledge or experience in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Installation, or a related electrical field.
Entrance Exams: Applicant who passes the both entrance and interview.
